Welcome Back

We will be re-opening our office for all necessary procedures on May 26, 2020. all non emergency appointments and routine care such as cleanings will resume after June 2020.

Dear Patients and Parents,

Dr. Jenny He will be slowly starting to reopen starting the week of May 26, 2020,you may be wondering what precautions we are taking to ensure your safety.   While the appointment process may look a little different, don’t worry we have always been on the front lines of preventing the spread of diseases.   From treatment and waiting room disinfection to the strict use of personal protective equipment (PPE), the safety of patients and staff members continues to be of utmost importance.

During the COVID-19 crisis and beyond, the safety of patients and staff continues to be a top priority when it comes to preventing the spread of disease, rest assured that we have always been strict on universal precautions. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).  Precautions have always included the use of masks, glasses, gloves, sterile instruments and devices as well as clean and disinfected environmental surfaces.

Additionally, frequently touched surfaces such as door handles, chairs, desks and bathrooms are cleaned and disinfected on a regular schedule.   Other objects that may be difficult to disinfect, such as magazines, reading material and toy stations have been removed all together.   We ask that you brush your teeth at home before coming to the office, and we ask that you wear your personal mask.

You may see some changes when it’s time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff.  For instance, the process may include screening and triage questions, waiting in your vehicle versus the waiting room, checking your temperature or asking that you follow social distancing and infection control etiquette.   We recommend against bringing companions to appointments, unless necessary.  If a parent is needed in the office for your child’s appointment we will need to screen the parent as well.

During your appointment, you will be asked to use a bacteria reducing rinse, which just helps bring down the amount of germs and viruses in the mouth to a lower level.   There will be fewer patients in the office at one time to promote social distancing.   If you have any questions or concerns, please call us prior to your appointment with you questions.

Rest assured Dr. Jenny He and Staff will be following any recommended precautions to treat all orthodontic patients safely.
